Remington Kistler - Employee Spotlight July 2024

Our Crownstone Employee Spotlight for July shines on Remington Kistler, Parts and Rental Specialist with Bobcat of Reading. Remington has been with Crownstone Equipment for about 18-months. As Reading's Parts and Rental Specialist, Remington helps customers with all their parts and rental needs, checks the store’s equipment inventory, and creates and receives traffic tickets for inbound/outbound equipment. Remington has been around farm and construction equipment his entire life and studied Heavy Equipment Technology at the Berks Career and Technology Center from 2019–2021. Remington hasn't stopped studying either; he recently completed his Bobcat Parts Specialist training and received a Gold Certification. 

In his free time, Remington enjoys going to dirt track races. When asked about his mentors, Remington mentions his Dad and his Uncle, “they have taught me pretty much everything I know about equipment and how to operate/work on machines”. Asked about his favorite part of the job, Remington answers, “helping the customers and overcoming the different obstacles and challenges that come with that, as well as no two days seem to be the same. The job has taught me that a lot more goes on behind the scenes of a dealership than what it looks like from an outside perspective”.
