Dave Shea - Employee Spotlight September 2022

                                                

Our September 2022 Employee Spotlight shines on our Event Specialist, Dave Shea. He has been working in the heavy equipment industry for 10 years, originally starting as a yard coordinator / rental technician and has been with Crownstone Equipment for one year! Since then, he has been certified gold in parts, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, diesel, and electrical certified through EE. As our Event Specialist he is responsible for expanding brand and customer reach through events and sponsorships. 

                   

When he is not at a branch or an event, you may find Dave in the Press Box at the York Revolutions, helping at The Village Pet Shoppe, or under the hood of a vehicle. He enjoys racing against his kids in Mario Kart or teaming up with them in Fortnite. Some of his coworkers may be surprised to learn through Dave’s college years he worked in radio! He recalls his favorite memories as “The nights I can’t remember with the friends I won’t forget.” 

                   

Dave considers Scott Britcher, branch manager for Bobcat of Adams, a mentor in his career because he always has great advice for him to follow, although he says there are many great people to look up to and learn from here at Crownstone Equipment. His favorite part about the job is interacting with his coworkers and bridging some of the gaps between departments and branches. Since starting with us he has learned a variety of skills and information, transitioning from our Rental Specialist to his current job as Event Specialist. The most important thing that he has learned is there is never just one way to do something. 

                   

When you see the Crownstone Equipment name at a local event or billboard, Dave has most likely played a part in making that happen. We are thankful for Dave’s hard work and outgoing personality as it provides many opportunities for us to reach our local communities and look forward to the continued growth with Dave’s help. We’re proud to shine a spotlight on Dave for the month of September!
